Speed Training Guideline






Explanation:

 

Purpose

The speed training guideline tool is designed to help you maximize the speed training of your athletes.  If speed training is performed at too low of an intensity, the training stimulus will not be enough cause improvement of speed performance.   

How It Works

Simply enter in your best speed performance time, regardless of the drill.  For example, if you ran a 40yd distance for speed training, and finished it in 5 seconds, you should enter it in the box below and click calculate.  A result will appear below the box. When training for speed, you should achieve a time BETTER than this result.  Any slower time will not improve speed performance.
