Flexibility and Stretching
Flexibility is an important part of athletics, both from a performance standpoint as well as injury prevention. Flexibility can be developed on one’s own, with a partner, or with implements such as elastic bands. Stretching should be performed carefully and properly in order to garner benefit. Muscles should be properly warmed up prior to undertaking any form of stretching.
