Bench Press Eccentric
-Coaching Points for Eccentric Bench Press
-Big chest/back tight
-Grasp bar with a shoulder width or slightly wider grip
-Fully grasp the bar, false grip can be dangerous
-Lower the bar slowly for the eccentric count
-Bar touches chest just above the sternum
-After the eccentric count is up explode up to the top
-Elbow stays directly underneath the bar and close to the body
-Butt stays on the bench
