Key Coaching Points for Kettlebell Turkish Get Up

Begin in a supine position with the bell held perpendicular to the floor.

With your opposing knee and hand, maneuver your body into the lunge position with the ipsilateral leg forward and the bell overhead.

Stand up maintaining the bell above your head.

Return to the starting position using the same technique used to get up.

Always keep your eye on the bell.

Note: The TGU can be performed with a full hip bridge, which means that the athlete will fully extend their hips(glues pinched together at the top) prior to moving to the lunge position.
