Training For Injured Players

These workouts are modified for injured athletes to help keep them in playing-shape while they are going through rehab.  When an athlete has a lower body injury, such as a knee injury, an excellent way to keep his or her work capacity at a high level is to perform adaptability training for the upper body and the uninjured leg.  For athletes who experience injuries to the upper body, such as to the shoulder, lower body adaptability training can help keep them in top shape.  Manual resistance training for uninjured limbs is another way to keep the athlete in shape while healing injuries.
