Coaching Points

  • 2 Arms Up, 1 Arm Down
  • Use contralateral stance with one foot on the foot peg and the leg slightly bent
  • Use an overhand grip using one hand. Keep the wrist in a neutral position.
  • Initiate the movement by retracting your shoulder blades.
  • Lower the cable handle slowly and under control.
  • Emphasize the contralateral (opposite side) engagement.
  • Ensure that your elbow stays close to your body during the eccentric phase.
  • Avoid excessive flaring or internal rotation of the shoulder.
