Coaching Points: 

  •  Hand positioning: Grip the hand pegs underhand with the hand that is on the same side as the working foot. The other hand should be positioned overhand. This grip will help you maintain stability and control throughout the movement.
  • Foot placement: Position your working foot at the end of the platform. This ensures that you have enough space to execute the exercise effectively.
  • Heel elevation: Lift your heel off the platform while keeping the ball of your foot in contact with it. This position engages the muscles in your lower leg and prepares you for the movement.
  • Drive through the big toe: Focus on pushing through the big toe of your working foot. This helps activate the muscles in your lower leg and allows for a more explosive movement.
  • Maintain a 45-degree angle: Throughout the exercise, aim to keep your body at a 45-degree angle. This position engages the appropriate muscles and ensures proper alignment.
