  • Coaching Points
    • Grip bar with a mixed grip: Use a mixed grip, where one hand is in a pronated (palm down) position and the other hand is in a supinated (palm up) position. This grip helps improve your grip strength and stability during the exercise.
    • Supinated hand opposite to flexed leg: Position your supinated hand, with the palm facing up, on the same side as the flexed leg. This hand placement allows for better coordination and engagement of the muscles involved in the movement.
    • Lower the bar quickly with control: When lowering the barbell, focus on a controlled descent. Keep your muscles engaged and maintain proper form as you lower the weight. Avoid dropping the bar or allowing it to free-fall, as this can lead to loss of control and potential injury.
    • Press with intent to move the bar as fast as possible: Once you reach the bottom of the movement, generate maximum force and press the barbell upward with intent. Focus on speed and explosiveness, aiming to move the bar as fast as possible while maintaining proper form.
