Wall Shakes and Walking Protocol

FROM THE TRIPHASIC RECOVERY MANUAL

 

Prior to beginning method complete:

  1. Perform your prescribed individualized Vestibular Activation Reset (VAR)

 

Follow these steps to complete the protocol:

  1. Walking for 2 minutes anywhere hallway/Figure 8 watching TV
  2. Laying Wall Shakes with 20 deep belly breaths – 2 minutes
  3. Walking for 2 minutes anywhere hallway/Figure 8 watching TV
  4. Laying Wall Shakes with 20 deep belly breaths – 2 minutes
  5. Walking for 2 minutes anywhere hallway/Figure 8 watching TV
  6.  Laying Wall Shakes with 20 deep belly breaths – 2 minutes
  7. Walking for 2 minutes anywhere hallway/Figure 8 watching TV
  8. Laying Wall Shakes with 20 deep belly breaths – 2 minutes
  9. Walking for 2 minutes anywhere hallway/Figure 8 watching TV

 

Suggested frequency of recovery method:

  1. Two to three times per week
